Ferrari have planned to draft in the seven-times world champion Michael Schumacher to substitute Felipe Massa at forthcoming Grands Prix, until Massa is able to race again.

Michael Schumacher, who retired from Formula 1 racing at the end of 2006, will undergo a special training program over the next few days to confirm he is fit enough to compete in next month’s European Grand Prix.

Schumacher has not driven Ferrari’s current F60 in anger and last tested for the Italian team, with whom he won five world titles, back in April 2008.

Ferrari F60 is F1 racing car Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro use to compete in the 2009 Formula One season. F60 car was launched on January 12, 2009. The name F60 is given to celebrate Ferrari's 60th year involvement in Formula One. Scuderia Ferrari is the only team to have competed every year.
