Button And Brawn Celebrate Double Titles

Jenson Button and his team ensure the GP Brawn as a champion this season, although there is still another lap race, after the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday night which won the drivers of the team Red Bull, Mark Webber of Australia.

Button was in fifth place and a British driver to win the race 10th, while his nearest rival Rubens Barrichello suffer because of the tires and broke ranks only eighth in the race in front of supporters, when he started the race in pole position.

Meanwhile, Barrichello hopes his degree had gone out earlier, no one can stop the Brawn - Honda's former team survived last March graffiti - took the title in the drivers and manufacturers this season.

Button, accompanied by the strains of "We Are The Champions, My Friends," from his team radio as he slowed the vehicle, trying to look up after the rain hit the play-offs that made him start at number 14.

"I am world champion, I won the world ... I'm not going to stop saying that," he said.

"The race was, perhaps, is the best I did during my life," said 29-year-old driver was, "I think this because there are elements of emotion and I have to do that."

While celebrating Webbber second victory of his career, while Brazilian Ferrari driver was injured, Felipe Massa, flying the flag.

"I think he (Button) can sleep well because he was getting results in the last five races," Webber said with a smile, "winning victory with Brawn. He will enjoy the final race in Abu Dhabi."

Red Bull drivers, Sebasian Vettel, 22-year-old boy from Germany who need to keep the champions have a chance to pursue a degree, only able to put himself on the stairs four at a pretty hot race with high humidity at Interlagos.

Button, winner of six races of the seven races earlier this season, now pocketed 89 score 74 points while Webber and Barrichello 72.

"I think there are people in Brawn more excited than me today," said Webber, "On the one hand I pray for rain. There was the smell but the water was not falling-down," he said.

Brawn's Jenson Button had his sixth win in seven first races of 2009 Formula 1 championship quite easily as he capitalised fully on Sebastian Vettel's first lap mistake in Turkey Grand Prix. The championship leading Englishman got past pole holder Vettel when the Red Bull driver ran wide on the exit of Turn Nine and Jenson Button dominated the race from then onwards. Vettel reached finish line on third place behind team mate Mark Webber while McLaren's world champion Lewis Hamilton battled hard to finish in 13th.

Jenson Button now tops the Formula 1 drivers' championship with 61 points and widens his lead to 26 points ahead of team mate Rubens Barrichello (35 points) and Vettel (29 points).

Button Won Monaco GP, Raikkonen Had His First Podium

Brawn GP driver Jenson Button won Monaco Formula One Grand Prix on Sunday, grabbing his fifth victory out of six races to extend his Formula One championship lead. Button's victory of this 2009 season is the first for a British driver at Monte Carlo street circuit race since Jackie Stewart did it 36 years ago. Jenson Button now leads drivers standings with 51 points. His team-mate Rubens Barrichello has 35 points after finishing second and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, who crashed out after 16 laps, is third with 23 points.

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen earned Scuderia Ferrari its first podium of the 2009 season by finishing third. Felipe Massa was fourth for Ferrari ahead of Red Bull's Mark Webber, who took his points tally to 19.5.

Jenson Button Stole GP Monaco Pole from Kimi Raikkonen

It seemed like Kimi Raikkonen would take the pole position in Grand Prix de Monte Carlo this Sunday, after a series of quick laps, but right at the end Brawn GP driver Jenson Button rushed through to steal the pole. The other Brawn GP driver Rubens Barrichello snatched third while Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel showed some great form to take fourth place on the grid. Will Jenson Button win the GP Monaco and take five victories out of six races? Time will tell.

Jenson Button Did It Again In Bahrain

Brawn's Jenson Button won the Formula One (F1) race for the third time this season at Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Button reached the finished line 7.1 seconds earlier before Red Bull's Sebastien Vettel and Panasonic Toyota's Jarno Trulli who started from pole position. This victory keeps Jenson Button leading the F1 Driver Standings with 31 points ahead of his Brazilian teammate Rubens Barrichello (19 points) and Vettel (18 points). Meanwhile Kimi Raikkonen scored Ferrari’s first points of the season by finishing on sixth behind Lewis Hamilton and Barrichello.

Jenson Button and Brawn GP F1 Won Twice

Jenson Button and Brawn GP F1 team won today's Malaysian Grand Prix as the race was red flagged after 32 laps due to rain. It is the second victory for Jenson Button and Brawn GP F1 team after the first one in the Australian Grand Prix last week.
